Mrs. Miller did a great job with our 5th and 6th graders during today’s CKH lesson. The theme for March is Courage.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Our high school students participated in a Mock Interview Day designed to give them real-world experience and build confidence for their future careers!
Local business and community partners volunteered their time to conduct one-on-one interviews with students, providing valuable feedback on communication skills, professionalism, resumes, and interview techniques. Students practiced answering common interview questions, presenting themselves professionally, and learning how to make a strong first impression.
This hands-on experience helps prepare our students for college, careers, and beyond by connecting classroom learning to real-world expectations. We are so grateful to our community partners for investing in our students’ success!

Last week was School Counselor Appreciation Week. Our staff and students celebrated Mrs. Banks for everything she does to make Seymour CSD such a great place. Cards were made and hung outside her room to surprise her when she arrived on Monday morning.
From teaching character education lessons at the elementary level to helping our secondary staff implement those lessons in their classrooms, assisting with student scheduling needs, being a listening ear for both staff and students, and helping our high school students prepare for life after graduation, Mrs. Banks does it all.
We are very lucky to have her on our team, and last week was a great opportunity to recognize the impact she has on our students and staff every single day.

Our Pre-school Classes received a special donation made in loving memory of Milly, who passed away at the age of five. From January 24, her birthday, through February 16, the day she passed, her family honors her life through Milly Moments, a time dedicated to encouraging acts of kindness.
Memory matching games were one of Milly’s favorite activities, making this donation especially meaningful. These games will be enjoyed by our preschool students while also supporting important early learning skills such as memory, focus, and turn-taking.
The family invites the community to check out the Milly Moments Facebook page and join in spreading kindness by sharing acts of kindness or moments when kindness has been shown to you.

January’s CKH theme was Respect, and we saw a lot of students showing it throughout the month. Thank you to everyone for doing their part to make Seymour CSD a great place to learn and work. Unfortunately, a few student recipients were absent from school today, but we'll find time to recognize them!
Our Student Council members also took time to recognize a staff member who consistently models respect. Congratulations to Mrs. Craver for leading by example!
